samoan shoe design ♥

Here is the Manaiakalani work that we did! We made shoe designs based around our rugby world cup country teams. My team is Samoa, that is why the shoe is the colours that it is, as it is based on the flag.
I liked making the design! It as fun and we got chances to be creative with it.
I think I could work on doing the outline myself, as I was away and I used my friends polyline.

This is the work we did for Manaiakalani based on our 2019 World Cup inquiry. The whole class was split up into 9 teams that were named after countries that are competing in the world cup. Here is the work I did!
 

maths quiz ♥

I enjoyed making the quiz! It's honestly really stupid but that's the point.
I thought it was hard to come up with a maths topic, so I just went with whatever.
I thought it was fun to design the slides, and get to come up with what came next.

science fair experiments ♥

This is the work for the school science fair I did with my friend, Melissa (her blog). We did it on making rainbow and colourful swirl patterns using skittles. You can read what we did and how we did it on the science board. 

matariki animation ♥

Today I was learning how to make animations frame by frame using a website called Brush Ninja. I enjoyed using the app to make the animation, as it was pretty simple and easy to understand. I found it hard to have to keep restarting frames over and over again. Also, I wish there was a colour wheel. My animation shows the nine Matariki stars slightly glistening in the night sky. Next time I would change the colours of the stars, as you couldn't see them twinkling as much as I would like. This blog post shows I am a smart learner. blogger.

museum visit ♥

This is a collage with pictures of our journey to the C Company Museum!

There, we learnt about early settlers and the timelines in which they came in. 

There was a remembrance hall type of thing with a bunch of soldiers pictures. Some of the people in my class were even related to them!

stem lesson ♥

So far, I have only done one lesson in STEM, due to me being away, but this lesson was pretty cool. We used these things called Micro Bits, and with a website on a computer, you can program it to make flash these lights and play music with just a click of those two buttons in the GIF, or even shaking it!
